Honoring Local Police Officers and Supporting Their Children with Scholarships on June 12
“A Meaningful Event to Strengthen Community Unity and Solidarity”
[DALLAS_TexasN] The Korean American Chamber of Commerce of North Texas (President: Dongheon Shin) and the Dallas Korean Association (President: Seonghan Kim) will co-host the 17th Annual Outstanding Police Award and Scholarship Ceremony on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Sura Korean Restaurant, located on Royal Lane in Dallas.
This year’s event will bring together police departments from Dallas, Carrollton, Frisco, and Lewisville, honoring outstanding officers who have devoted themselves to public safety and awarding scholarships to their children in recognition of their service to the North Texas community.
Organizers emphasized that the ceremony aims to express the Korean American community’s deep gratitude for the sacrifices and commitment of law enforcement officers and to encourage their children to pursue bright futures. “This meaningful event is an opportunity to further strengthen trust and unity between local law enforcement and the Korean American community,” they said.
The annual ceremony continues to attract strong interest and support from the community as it promotes deeper cooperation between Korean residents and public safety agencies, while offering heartfelt appreciation to officers and their families.
